Weathertechs arrived today.
Had to go to the DMV to turn in some plates on the wife's Subaru that the transponders camera couldn't read. While out that way I stopped at Tractor Supply and picked up a set of Bull Dog mounts to mount my XBULL'S behind the cab.

 

If you don’t mind answering:
I have a serious question, how does staying in over 30 years help pad retirement?

The max retirement percentage is 75% and under the high 3; that’s 30 years of service. On top of that, in every rank, the bi-annual pay increase stops at 26 years of service.

This is assuming you are active duty, not too familiar with reserve, ARTs, or guard’s retirement point base system.

 

Well there you have it. I am reserves. Reserves retirement is based on points (days served on duty). Most 20 year reserve retirements would have about 2000 points. I'm pushing 6k which in active duty time would be about 16 years service. Also, reserves last pay increase is 38 years service.

Well I didn't exactly do anything yet but the parts are coming together. I think my UPS driver is beginning to hate me. 60 pounds of suspension parts earlier in the week, 200 pounds of tires today and AALs showing up Monday.

Edit: Also seeing this truck on the jack, I need to look into a lift. Looks good with some space between the tire and fender. I need to power through reading up on lift/ shock threads.
