Happy Friday! Any suggestions on some local easy/beginner trails to get some practice with my stock truck? I took the fiance up old Geiger grade last Sept and i would be lying if i said i didnt get a little intimidated in some spots (and now fiance's scared of even going anywhere on dirt again hehehe). Only have a grand saved up for a lift right now and just dabbling looking around it may be a while to save up - any suggestions on where I should be looking locally/websites for lifts? I just want something that will get me out and about in NV/Sierras without having to worry. If youd rather not share trails public please give me a pm. Thanks everyone and please excuse my noob post (there will be more!)

Plenty of trails up by Boca that are beginner friendly. Don't get near the mud alone. You'll get stuck. Spent plenty of nights in highschool digging buddies out. This time of year is too deep to go out there but once the snow starts to melt you'll be fine.

Henness Pass Road and Dog Valley is pretty tame when there isn't snow. You could wander around there in a stock truck @9FEETOFSMOKE

My plan is to use an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel...didn't think reverberation would be an issue but I really don't know.

Dakars are a popular budget friendly option. I'm happy with mine.

Where specifically are you located? I just did some trails in the Henderson area this week that were definitely stock truck friendly but still a great time.

Either the All Pro expos or the Dakar’s. The All Pro customer service reviews have not been great recently and I personally run the Dakar’s but wanted to give you some options.

Deavers if you want to pay big boy bucks.
