Well I've had my tacoma for about 2 months and last night some stupid fuck decided he wanted to drive in the on coming lane. I was able to swerve at the last min and he hit me at about 45mph on my driver side rear 1/4. Would of been a head on collision otherwise and my ARB bumper would have been through his windshield. I think he had to of hit the wheel and tire directly as the entire bad end is now totally fucked. Couldn't get any more pictures than this one as the towing company isn't open until monday. I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do now. I have to take off work to get it looked at on Monday. I don't have a clue where to take it or how to go about getting replacement parts for my now destroyed fabtech lift. You guys have any ideas? THIS FUCKING SUCKS ASS!!!

id be more concerned with the driveshaft, spring pack, and frame than the fabtech lift blocks that you can find replacements for anywhere

this is what insurance is for...just let your insurance take care of it

yeah I talked to them today, meeting with adjuster on monday. I think the frame is ok, but then again it was 12am and raining, and I was raging angry, so I could have missed something. You guys think they will total it with that much damage to the drivetrain?

What matters is that you're OK. The rest will get worked out. Let the insurance company handle it, and get it put back together the way it was.

not to rain on anyones parade, its just how i feel. when you get in wreck, the repair company will do all they can do to fix it for the most part. you will get some non oem parts, paint wil not match with orange peal and all, and it just never seems to drive right. you take it in to complain about it not looking right or not driving right and they have a back up plan of "its within tollerance". i sure wish i had pics of a s10 blazer of mine that got t-boned, one front wheel was extruded past the fender by 3/4" and vise versa on the other side. the blazer drove kinda sideways (if you know what im talking about). i took it back several times to no avail, it was within tollerance.
the best of luck to you and your truck.

So sorry to hear about your truck. I'd be mighty pissed as well. One GOOD thing is, you didn't get hurt. Your truck can be repaired or replaced - that's what insurance is for.

Wow that sucks man, nice looking truck though.

This is what insurance is for, it will either be rebuilt or totalled and you can buy another one.

that sucks big time.its only a truck and that shit can be fixed or replaced.it could have been worse. your only hope is if the frame is bent to shit they will most likely total it.keep bitching to the other guy's ins comp.they might total it so they can be done with it and you.they wont want you to keep complaining after they fix it.its not worth there time or money

true, and I had 3 friends in the truck, everyone was fine. Worst of it was the 540 or 900 that we did, couldn't tell how may spins it was, but I did manage to keep us on the road.

Avoiding the head on kept you guys out of the hospital (or possibly worse) and probably saved the life of the other driver. Head on with a lifted truck with an ARB can be harmful to your health...

well I went through my insurance (USAA) I really like them, and they are dealing with his insurance company.

So if they total it will I be able to go and get shit off of it, like the $2000 worth of stereo equipment, my ARB bumper, wheels and tires?
