Find out the back spacing on the wheels. My brother has 285/75-16 on 4.5 backspace wheels. No lift and minimal rub when flexed and turning

 

I don’t want any rub. I work in the Bronx so I’m usually back and forth trying to park and stuff

I originally had 275/70-18 (33s) and needed to cut a lot of the inner fender splash guards and the inside corner of the flares back by the firewall. The tires left witness marks on the UCA and frame.

When I added spacers the increased scrub radius made it necessary to cut the body mount.

That was all with no lift.

If you don't want to cut 33s won't fit. Lifted or not.

That said, it isn't much cutting to make them fit.

How you determine this?

 

@diabetiktaco 4.5 inch backspace wheels and you can run 285’s all day. Just need to take the mud flaps off the front and take a razor blade and shave a metric coont hair off of the corner of the bumper. According to hunter you don’t wheel so that’s all you need. If you were to go wheeling you just need to flatten the pinch weld but you basically need to do that with any size tire once you hit the trail and start stuffing tires.

*DISCLAIMER* All tires vary in size even if they are listed as the same size and alignment can effect tire rub. My post is based off of a 100% stock truck with original factory alignment with procomp 16x8 wheels with 4.5 backspacing. It worked with both fierce attitude m/t tires and again with federal m/t both in 285/75-16

 

Yea. Cab mount chop all depends on back spacing and castor angle

 

Yes. Stock TRD sport suspension. It looked awesome.
