It's fun. Basically shuffleboard on ice. But why an arctic retirement home game is an Olympic event I have no idea. What separates curling from, idk... darts?

Darts is a bad ass drinking game, especially when you play cricket thats probably why not an Olympic sport the Germans will always win lol

    Guilty.
Exactly. They started analyzing it and getting technical saying "now they got to start playing defense and get conservative.
    I couldn't help but laugh.

    Get a good step bit.

Other than that it’s straight forward.

Just got one. I'll give it a shot next weekend if the weather is good. Offer stands though.

Will do! Just painted them today. I'm off Monday so if the weather holds out I'd like to give it a go. My wife really wants the garage space back :p

    Giggity!

Any beer preferences? My crafty collection is large and I haven't had one in a few months, they're going to go to waste.

Half-inch bit. The metal is soft enough that a black oxide bit will work. Use titanium if you want it to go through a little easier. Gotta have a way to support it -- either people or jack stands or both. You gotta get it up into place first then mark the holes and bring it back down again before drilling. No way to drill with it in place. For marking the holes I used a chalk marker. Like what you use to write on windows. After you drill make sure you apply some rustoleum to the holes. Don't be like me. I need to take mine off now and check for rust...

Nothing to worry about drilling the passenger side. That one's "easy." The driver side though has the brake line running across it. And that line is not pliable so you have to disconnect just about everything that comes in contact with it so you can move it out of the way enough otherwise you'll risk drilling right through it. Use a zip tie to keep it out of the path of your drill. Better yet, have someone hold it.

You can see with my sliders (Pelfreybilt) the bolt was right in line with the brake lines. I actually knicked one line while drilling. After it was installed I secured my brake line with another zip tie to keep it from rubbing too much on the new bolt. And that white plastic clip could not be reused

Good luck. They're worth the effort :headbang:

Gosh it's been years since I've been out there... It was at Lowe's...is it still there? My father in law used to take his Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce and BMW 2002.
