Next weekend is mod day weekend at SOS Offroad Concepts in Laurens. Probably will be a lot of TW people there.

That is his name. Was thinking about bringing him next Saturday but didn't know everyone would feel about that.

There's a few hideous ones around here but luckily no Tacomas.... yet

That's great. He's a good looking pup. Didn't you have a pointer, too? Or am I thinking of someone else?

After 3 days of no sleep nor food, I decided to hit the local clinic. Never seen a RN's eyes so wide.
Immediately sent me to the ER.
My throat was so sore and I've been so wore out from my trip back that I was getting sleep in about 9 minute increments. Until I swallowed in my sleep, then I was back up.

Turned out to be Peritonsillar abscess.
Another day or 2 and it could gave possibly cut off my air supply or even burst and infected my lungs or gotten into my stomach/system.

Shot of cortisone and antibiotic. Some good pain killers and we are feeling pretty close to normal.

Damn glad you are OK!!! That stuff is nothing to play with. You get that crap down in your stomach or lungs and could easily go septic!

I am just getting over another nasty ear infection. Hopefully this one won't take any of the hearing I have left. Had one in my left ear a couple yrs ago that damaged my hearing more than it was. This one in my rt was worse. Looked like I had a giant abscess on my cheek. That happened over night. The doc/pa never saw one like that before my ear canal was so swollen they could barely look into it. My eat looked like Mayweather did a number on it.

This was certainly headed for my ear.
The reason that I decided to go this morning was that my left eye was blurry when I woke up.
I have a bad tendency in my sleep to open my eyes when I turn in my sleep and have caught the corner of a pillowcase. I didn't remember doing that last nite, so it kinda had me on edge.
I'm guessing it was due to possibly pressure in my sinus cavity.

Damn yeah the doc checked my mouth out to make sure I didn't have any abscesses in there because of the way I presented.

So don't ever rob your place since you literally sleep with one eye open!

    All good.
Got 2 shots. One of a cortisone in my hip which is in the usual place...drop your drawers, kinda in the rear.

The antibiotic shot was in a very odd place that I've never had before. Same left hip, but forward.
Almost directly on my hip joint.
Guy said it was something new that was out.
    Less nerves or something.
    I couldn't walk for 10 mins.

My only experience with steroid shots is directly where I need them back, shoulders, and elbow.

Damn straight!!!! Always. Gramps taught me how to stitch myself up. I got all his old medical stuff! I do CERT training as well. I have a lot of family in the medical field so that helps. But yeah I prep ever since I was a kid. BSA taught me how! I had a full trauma medical kit complete with defib. when we were at chestnut mtn.
