I already installed them...didn't even think about just doing one and taking comparison pics...

The product info says 10000 hrs.

I just got these housings in the mail today. I have led bulbs in my factory housings now. I don’t want to lose them. Is there a way i can put my bulbs back in the new housing? I also ordered mine from Tacomabeast

The LED bulbs you have now will not work with these new head lights because the stock units use a 9003 bulb while the TacomaBeast ones use a different style bulb. I want to say its an H1 for the 05-11 lights...total bummer I know.

I’ve been researching, and have found that this is called headlight crazing, and can be caused by heat. It is literally right where the beam exits the lens, and only in that one little area. Not really asking a question here, but any info anyone can add would be appreciated.

    Cleaned it up:

Update: got them installed. I love how they look. Just need some led bulbs now. What do y’all recommend for h1 led bulbs? My old kit obviously didn’t work lol

So the bulbs fit in perfectly. But since they are technically fog light bulbs they only have led chips on the sides and not the tip of the “bulb”. So they look sweet and nice and white but they are not very bright. Kind of a bummer but oh well. I’m going to return them and continue the search.

For some reason they look like they have way more light output in the picture than they actually do. Kinda weird but they are not this bright

I found some PIAA H9 halogen bulbs that look promising.

I found some other led bulbs that look like they might work better so here’s to hoping!

Might wanna try hids like this Kensun HID Xenon Conversion Kit "All Bulb Sizes and Colors" with "Slim" Digital Ballasts - H11 - 6000k - 2 Year Warranty https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ZF3DYG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Jv8HAb2QYBGEK
LEDs really require a specific type of projector. Hids from what I hear, work well in halogen projectors.

Where would you locate the ballast?
