Manual Transmission to Auto

I've always had a MT (5 Toy pickups), but I need a long bed AC so an AT it is. I actually like it.

 

Automatic for me. I can bang through the gears on my motorcycle when I want to.

The manual was the #1 factor I went with the Tacoma. Now that the Ranger is out, If I was going to go with an Auto, it would be a strong contender (if it lives up to the hype).

 

But dude...you've got Clutch Start Cancel.

Without a doubt, that is the most versatile button I've ever encountered on a vehicle. It does all kinds of badass things!

You all are silly. I got a MT with a 6 foot bed just fine.

I'm with those that would never have even been on this forum if the trucks weren't offered with an MT.

 

I use that quite a bit no doubt. But its hard to beat just grabbing the driver door and the vehicle unlocks. Plus when it’s cold I don’t have to dig my keys out of my pocket!

I seriously considered that, but I've got 3 kids. They weren't too thrilled with the space back there for some reason...

Manual here. If I wanted a auto, I would of bought a Tundra, Silverado, Colorado, etc.

 

My non-parent self thinks they would have no choice if you told them to deal with it. I'm sure it's not that easy.

 

My first tacoma was a standard cab automatic and I always wished I had an MT. When I had the opportunity to get my own truck, first thing I did was try to find a MT. I love having the MT to drive but the only thing that sucks is waiting in stop and go traffic in VA. If anybody knows anything about 264 outside Norfolk, yall know what im talking about.
