    Welcome! I’m also a recent 2nd gen owner too (x runner, so who needs a 4x4 in Miami?). The 4.0 is a delight.

    C467549C-695C-48F4-914E-CB0C91D208E5.jpg I heated the hell out of the lower a/c bracket outside-bolt, so I can get to the CKP sensor, so I can remove cam chain cover. Thats what I have done to my 2nd gen Tacoma today.

    Got new stickers from CBoy808 for my Husky weather beaters. They look OEM AF. Out with the old. In with the new.

    I love that little bit of protrusion....
    I ended up using gm 3/8 retainer clips @ 67¢ a piece to cover the holes.

    "Riveted style" fenders or really riveted ??
    I'm looking for a good brand of riveted (really) fenders.
    I have 1.25" wheel spacers and mud tires;
    when driving in deep mud, a lot of dirt enters inside if the windows are open

    (I know, a lot of folks will say 'close the windows'

    Mat.jpg Bought mine with 41K miles on it. Just hit 60K, figured I better change all my fluids. I don't think they were changed,by the original owner. I used Redline MT90 for transmission, and transfer case. Redline 75-90 for rear diff. I also added a Westin bed mat, so my cargo doesn't slide around like it's on ice.
    I want to use the original D rings in the rear of the bed, without cutting away the liner. So I used a hole punch, and tried to re install the D rings. I definitely need longer bolts. They are odd ball, anyone found or tried this ?

    Took some spacers and cut them to make custom bushings for the stock bed bolts to make free spinning d rings on the bed bolts closest to the cabin.
