Thanks man, I’ve since removed it because I feel it looks better on the Double Cab. I went with a SR Grille with a badge Overlay. Thanks.

See above response to your original drive vibrations question. For whatever reason, it’s common for 3rd gens with lifts - any and all types.

Block lifts raise the body but offer not additional off road performance, they’re a cost effective way to get a lifted look. The majority of users on this site are looking to improve suspension articulation. Thus, most would recommend not preloading the spring because you lose shock travel. By preloading the spring, you are increasing its initial exerted force, or “harshness”. The properly sized/rated coil allows the shock to perform at its peak, offering the maximum droop and absorption.

I cannot speak for all suspension systems, but having researched the 5100 setup and previous users’ experience, anything more than the .85 setting offers a noticeable difference in ride stiffness. You’re exactly right, replacing or adjusting the suspensions system is just that - change! Making an improvement to your ride is the goal, whatever your definition of improvement is. Everyone has their own lift goals and how the truck drives is relative. Look at tires - mud tires hum, but it’s more noticeable to some than others. I’m not raining on your parade, I just want to see you get the most out of your truck - whatever that might be!

No lift or spacers all stock, but looking on doing a 2” of some variation. I just plastidiped the bumper and removed all stickers and badges. I can attest that having the long bed is awesome as I’m under 6ft and I like to camp in my truck. Also being a carpenter I load my truck on the regular with tools and material so having a 5ft bed on a truck just seemed useless. Here’s my current pic of the side view. I’m looking at doing an alarm attached to the rear shell like my 2010 had, but still am confused on the whole keyless entry and how an aftermarket alarm works with it9F49E528-7CEF-478E-91E0-4EC08F1CFE31.jpg

Well fellas, I'm gonna have to sign off the MGM thread. I went to a dealer to have them see about getting the TSB(0077-16) that addresses some of the tranny/cruise weirdness, and a salesman asked how I liked my truck. After explaining that I loved it but wished I had a long bed... Well, you can guess the rest. I now own a 2017 DCOR L/Bed in Silver. They made me a deal that I could not resist. I told them a stupid number that I thought was unrealistic that I'd trade at. They said no way and actually called me 10mins after I left and said come on back, we'll do it. My truck stickered for $35,535 and had 17k miles. The silver one stickered new for $40,419 and had 2600 miles on it. I traded for $1000 difference. I couldn't say no. Love the Magnetic color, but I love the Silver just as much. Can already tell it does not show dirt near as badly. And that long bed just makes all the difference. I play music(drummer) and my equipment will not all fit in that short bed. I fits great in my long bed though. That extra foot is night and day room wise. Anyways, y'all take care...

Looks great! I have Falkens on my '17 Wrangler and love 'em! Great tires for a great price IMHO...

Does anyone have a picture matte black vinyl on their truck. I’m curious how matte black looks ontop of MGM.

New wheels came in.. I was a little worried with how the bronze Methods would look on the MGM in person but I’m digging how they turned out! Now I’m thinking of adding a OME leaf pack to give my Taco a butt lift. Lol

Can you post a side shot of your truck?

I had those same XD wheels on my Ram and was thinking of getting them for my Taco.
