Well that’s interesting. The few post-install posters claim to be noticeably nose high. I also picked up an AAL in case that happens but from my measurements I’m expecting to be pretty flat.

I don't really notice it, however the front is about .50 inches higher than the rear from the measurements. Also when installing I accidentally missed the bottom hole for the rear shock so it extended all the way out. Had to use a jack to get it to close and some random tools to put it back into place and get the bolt in. Well I noticed something when the shock was fully extended 1.5 to 2" lift in the rear will be just fine. That shock is very long. I will probably be doing a 1.5" add a leaf to the rear.

Just placed my order. Guess I'll see if they are out of stock as some people are saying.

Exactly. I have had every generation at some point, so I feel like I’m still qualified to make a contribution in the other forums from time to time.

Woo hoo! Got mine today. Any pics from a gen 2 with AAL also installed along with which AAL was used and front/rear height differences?

I'll be doing an aal with no OL, I believe. Think my 85k back leafs may have sagged too much. I'll put the front on first and see how it sets.

I realize this is a bit OT, but this is the thread with the most info in this setup. These will bolt into a 4th gen 4runner if you change the rear shock eyelet. The second gen suspension usually nets a 1.5” lift on a v6 4runner with the stock coil rate of 550 lbs. Any guesses what lift I might see on a T4R? Our coil springs are likely the same rate as yours (around 590) and your suspension on a 2nd gen Taco will give 1” or so lift. So I’m guessing around 2.75-3” on my T4R? Apologies for thread jumping.

It'll raise the front about 2" and do nothing for the rear.

Thanks for the reply! What’s the logic/geometry behind your answer? I’m guessing the 4runners get the lift from 2nd gen struts due to the increased spring height of the 2nd gen springs. The lift they get from the Pro setup is likely from the increased spring rate, not the spring height. Then....I’m lost

Is everyone installing the brake liner spacer?
I'm not sure I follow what this is doing (besides the obvious that it is spacing the brake line haha) .
Picked up my box this morning from the shipping outlet in Montana.

I installed mine.. I believe it's for the extra droop/extension that the rear will do with the longer shocks.
