Steve, to your point on different manufacturers.. I had to trim flare and liner (at the back) and also had to cmc to fit my 285's fierce attitudes properly (ask your friend vinny how I had to take my flares off to be able to leave his shop lol).... they do run on the bigger spectrum of 285s... even after an alignment with proper caster for less rubbing I still rub when fully stuffed...

 

Oh and also 1" BL

 

What was your wheel backspacing?

 

I dont really know at this point between bumper weight and running #700 springs, but last time I dialed it in was I think I had it at 2.25 or 2.50 over stock... and then I eyeball'd it and backed it up a notch when i put the 700s....

So in summary i dont remember

 

Whats stock bs on OF wheel? Cant remember now, also had spacers that day but took them as soon as I got home and same thing...

 

Also a little rubbing never killed anyone. If you can’t steer on flat ground that’s different, but full stuffed with the tires turned is a once in a while predicament. If your gonna rip your fender off you need to address it but a little thump thump thump from the treads rubbing isn’t gonna hurt anything. And if your worried about the rub damaging your tires then they are probably too weak of a tire to leave the pavement with anyway

 

5.25 I believe. Which would have put a 285 into your frame and your upper control arm so you had spacers which I believe yours were 1.25. So that put your bs to 4” which is why you rubbed on the cab mount and fender

I really like the Terra’s but the trails are better for OR and not nearly as deafening as the muds...

 

Yours? Narrow yes, steep no. Mines on more of an angle... that’s why we’re always working on the stone lot or the grass on the side yard.
