I guess if you need it, I only needed like 3/8” to get mine to quit vibrating. Didn’t need one at all until the factory bearing went bad...

Fucking Toyota dealership. I have a suspicion they put the jiggle valve at 12:00 when they did the water pump/timing belt 13 months ago.

Replacing the radiator today, figured I’d pull and check or replace the thermostat. First bolt I try can’t budge it. Worried I’ll break it but I’ll never have as much room to work with as I do at the moment.

Marathon Seat covers. Fit is nice and pretty much indestructible. Ordered six weeks ago, but worth the price and the wait.

That’s a good way of looking at it. Not sure what to do with it at this point. Soaking it in PB Blaster and waiting for reinforcements tomorrow. This wrenching day was going too well.

Did you lose all the threads or only a couple. It may still thread in and it isn't holding much so you'd be fine if it does.

That should be fine, just holding the tstat housing. Don't over tighten it and use a wee bit of antisieze so it doesn't do that again. Use a paint pen to make sure it isn't backing out.

Thanks man. I didn’t even think about the paint pen idea. I’ll make sure to antiseize the three bolts. Haven’t gotten to third one. I think I’ll use some PB Blaster on it as @RedManRocket suggested so maybe I can go 2 for 3 on these.

Eesh. That was my immediate thought when it broke loose all the sudden. It’s a sickening feeling.
