Where are these drain tubes coming from on your cover? I had two drain holes already in the floor of the bed near the bulkhead and I just used brass double ended barb couplings from Home Depot. Looks like you are going through the side or bulkhead of the bed.

    Good cover with positive drainage.jpg

Yes I went through bulkhead. More appealing and doesn’t take up room in bed if you wanted to push something all the way up

    Too much.
Today I washed it. Then, I put in a camera switch, but its only for the reverse for now. I'll install a front camera later. I also moved the USB to the glovebox.

I like the new switch plate. I put one in too but think I might go back to factory cubby and add a switch pro. That thing looks amazing!

Installed husky floor liners this morning.

Yesterday it had its first service. Toyota said that window rattling was normal for the Tacoma. The sound isolation kit they installed for the passenger side dash also did nothing.

Just a couple of minor things today. The first picture shows my visor with the air bag warning sticker removed. It was a simple process with the hair dryer. I am now open to any suggestions on stickers to replace it.

On the next 2 pictures I tried to show the 2 chips that I repaired with a kit from Walmart that cost less than $11. I already had 2 chips repaired from a local glass shop that charged me $40 each. These windows are very fragile. The last picture I taped a piece of paper on the window and took a picture trying to show the cracks. I think I did a better job of repairing the crack than the glass company did.IMG_0310 (1).jpg IMG_0325.jpg IMG_0327.jpg

Haven't installed the drain tube on my BakFlip, so far haven't seen the need but if I do I'm going thru the bulkhead as well. Off the floor and out of the way seems like a much better idea to me.

Yes and no. The fit is spot on as far as lining up the mounting bolts, so nothing has changed from 2nd gen to 3rd gen in that respect. But the stock front bolts (m8 x 1.25 x 50mm) are just a bit too short. What I mean by that is, when you snug everything up the skid plate kind of hugs the lower bumper valance and I don't think that looks very good. So for about $4 you can get two m8 x 1.25 x 60mm bolts and it fits like a glove with a nice little 10mm gap to the valance.
