Well fellas, let me introduce myself. I'm known over on the Magnetic Grey thread pretty well. BUT...not allowed over there now, lol. I bought a MGM DCOR short bed about 3 weeks ago. LOVED the truck, but damn that bed was just too small coming from a full size truck. Today I went in to my dealer asking about the TSB to address the tranny(0077-16). While they had my truck back in service I wondered around and was approached by a salesman asking how I liked it. I said love it outside of the little bed. He said follow me... Long story short, I NOW have a 2017 DCOR LONG BED and it is so much better! Lucked out and found one with the only 2700 miles. All stock now, but have 5100s coming tomorrow and have a block for the rear. Have other things planned. So now ya know....the REST of the story, lol.

 

Cement counts as silver right?

@MS9815 Yea, I think that would look really good on those. Most of us have black wheels I think.

 

It does count as a second hand silver. Like a dirty turdy silver yes

Thats quite the story, may I ask how much if any did you lose on the trade?

 

My grey truck had 16k miles and stickered new for just over $35k. The silver one has about 3k miles and stickered over $40k. I traded for a $1000 difference. I actually told the dealer that's what it'd take and they said no way. They tried to counter me, starting at about $4800 to start and then just kept coming down. I held my ground and left. Was across the street getting gas and they called and said they'd do it. It was a no brainer at that point.

 

sorry for the delay, had family issues to handle...no i live in Alabama and it's the only one i've seen in about 8 months with the V6 MT AC Sport 4x4... yes i looked across 5 states over 8 months and paid a little more than i wanted but to me its perfect and i wouldn't want anything else, hands down the nicest vehicle i've owned and all stock....for now...i'll try and get a picture up ASAP

Just brought her home last night! DCSB OR with the premium package. Picking up my Matte Gunmetal Ray 10’s next week from the warehouse and putting on a pro grille, just like the look better than the Braun close shave grille. Oh and got the center console tray and repping my SCS t-shirt.

Congrats! Never knew they existed in the states. I was told they never existed in that configuration when I got my first Taco.
