I agree with that part, I like projects also, im not going to do it just to try to skirt around the government (and then post it on here like the websites aren't monitored or something)o_O

Don't worry, I'm less tha 10 minutes away from their biggest store and range and I haven't gone broke in there

It's easy to not buy anything when no one will talk to you while you're browsing

I drove across town 45 minutes away to their other store so I could buy a shotgun because a buddy works in their small retail shop

Had the same issue a few years ago trying to buy a couple of stripped lowers at the big LGS. After about 20 minutes of not being acknowledged, and being the only customer in the store, I left and drove an hour to Spike's. Got the lowers $20 cheaper and got to shoot the shit with some legitimately cool, down to earth folks.

Spend the money on three 30 round mags and put the rest to ammo. $125 for the capacity of two standard magazines makes no sense.

You guys must have some bad gun shops. My local gun shops are all over you when you walk in. They know me now so its not so bad. Either extreme is super annoying though I bet.

I have ordered 2 rifle kits from PSA and assembled them ... bought 2 rifle kits from Primary Arms with Radical Firearms uppers also.

The quality from PSA is so much better than Radical. Radical sent an upper with half of the holes stripped out in the barrel nut for the floating handguard. Hole under the gas block in the barrel wasn’t drilled thru completely which made for a single shot AR.

Primary Arms is a bit cheaper but Palmetto has better quality in my experience.

Sold the 2 I bought from Primary Arms.

With everything going on in the news, should we panic and buy AR's? I'm still on the fence about which way I want to go, build or buy. A friend of mine built one last week and I saw pictures of it yesterday and he said he built it for around $400 without optics.

    Panic or no panic.

Buy as much as you can afford, as fast as you can afford it.

But please don't validate your purchases based on recent events, that will only create a "panic".

True. LPKs were almost non-existent for a little while too...at least the ones I wanted.
