Well, not a real high-tech mod, but one that comes in very handy when hauling something in your bed like bags of horse feed or gas cans, etc... Just used a couple 5" pieces of angle iron and some self-tapping screws and a piece of treated deck board. Then painted it all to match in flat black. I used the angle iron to hold it in place against the edges of the bedside storage boxes. I hate stuff sliding around in the bed and this works great. The board just slips right out when not needed.

Be sure you have a grinder just in case. Check to be sure you have the right size sockets before starting. I discovered the replacement u bolts had bigger nuts. Have a extra part of hands handy. Be careful not to over stretch the soft break lines on the driver's side.

Try a 1”x1” piece of that anti slip stick on pad they sell at Lowe’s or Home Depot. It comes packaged as a 2 pack and each piece is like 4”x3” but just cut a small square out with scissors.

Pull the sticky backing off then stuff it like 3/4 of the way into the gap where the A pillar meets the dash (I used a credit card) and voila the damned foresaken right side dash squeak is now totally gone! :)

Damn. That is just wrong. Any chance that could have happened during shipping? I'd hate to think a TW member would do that to another member, or anyone else for that matter. The mounting tabs can be reattached via JB Weld. That stuff is crazy amazing. The other issues.... :annoyed:

Not sure if anyone replied to you, but the main concern you will need to be aware of is the TSS sensor that is located in the front grill behind the Toyota emblem on 2018. Reason why everyone switches to a pro is cause there is a housing for it on pro grilles, but not on many aftermarket grilles.

Finally put on the new shoes... the old ones were nice, just a weird size combo for this kind of truck. Not at all the look and function that I wanted. I'll never understand the 20s on a truck thinking...
Went from Nitto G2 265/50R20 on Fuel Trophy 20s:
    20171129_153031.jpg
To Falken Wildpeaks 265/70R17 on Gunmetal SCS 17s:
    20180217_151441.jpg
SO much better.... debated between the gunmetal and bronze, so happy with these.
    20180217_151112.jpg 20180217_143527.jpg

I'l be ordering a pro grill and s5 fog bezels in the coming weeks...

Good god! Those old tires made it look like a street truck I see running around the ghetto neighborhoods.
