Sick! I could probably talk Austin into this, i mean he did buy an Icon Stage 5 for his DD 4runner after we both talked him into it. AND helped him install it. This is his new truck, 20k miles, with a 4 wheel camp all courtesy of Gramps. Lucky SOB!!

That's disturbing to say the least. That's close to one of the areas where I work. Vary glad it was someone else that found it and not me.

 

What's strange to me is up until recently the middle fork road has been under construction for 3yrs. How it wasn't noticed sooner is odd.

Fuck, after having to bury the neighbors goat in this shit storm, finally getting my day started. Wheel bearing, LCA uniballs and some more preload to the coil overs. With a carrier bearing in there somewhere.

Wish it was mine. Perks of the job. Shops gotta be big enough to fit a 300 size excavator or a 40ton haul truck inside with the door closed.

 

Got the new fridge/stove slide installed along with my Relentless tailgate reenforcement which means I can now put a drink on my tailgate and not worry about it spilling.

Big benefit to this over my previous setup is that on the old one whenever I would move the fridge items would immediately shift into place and I’d have to move them back out the way of the slide. Got annoying quick.

 

My guess is that it was tucked a little ways off of the road. Although you would think that some one bringing in a ton of supplies would have raised some attention.

 

Theres a ton of little cabins/shacks in the NF lands that aren't that far from the main/side roads. The ski resorts have quite a few of them too. Used to bring our beer and stash them while we skied and came back for beer and food.

I’ve encountered a couple DIY cabins/shacks on USFS lands. At least one I know was used by skiers.
