    I bet if you do a blue led version @mesojdm all the cavalry, blue, cement, gray, white and silver taco owners will go nuts. Ty by the way for your release yesterday and prompt shipping...I bought the v2 white maps and white dome...can’t wait to get them in. I am a huge lighting guy...just installed a 30 inch double row led bar in the lower grill today and already have the zroadz 40 inch roof mount double row bar on...ditch pods with side shot coming this week along with your kit...so pumped.

    Already have mine on order, but wondering, do the lights still slowly"warm up" and dim out with unlocking/locking the door or do they go full off to fill bright at all times? I know LEDs used to not be able to dim, but wasn't sure if these could.

    Hope that made sense

    @mesojdm I got some on order from you thanks! Quick question, I bought a cheap LED setup awhile back, and when I put those bulbs in they randomly turned on when the car was locked and the lights where off. Have you seen that before? Curious why they did that.

    My Ultimate Dome literally just did that and I have been wracking my brain trying to figure it out. (Turned off car, locked x2 to get auto headlights to turn off, walked away, came back five min later and dome was on)
    Edit: to clarify, my stock maps may have been on too, I just wasn’t paying attention

    SOLVED:
    Prior to getting the MESO lights I didn’t usually have my interior lights set to turn on, so I didn’t notice the proximity sensor that illuminates the cabin when you walk up w/ keyless entry. Cool feature! (My observation skills need work though).
    TL;DR: not a problem it’s a feature

    It doesn't take much current to light LEDs. Just a little "leaking" through the system is enough for them to light. These high power LEDs probably take more power, enough so that they shouldn't have the same problem I'm guessing.

    Hmmm.... Would love to understand why this is and if it is just something that everyone with LED interior lights has to deal with. I don't know about lighting up the inside of my truck at night when I am not around. :notsure:

    I’ve had the dome light for a while and not had the issue before. I just got a compustar remote start installed, so I’m going to keep an eye on it and see if that might be part of the issue. (Also, need to check and make sure the lights don’t have an auto-present feature when you walk up that I just haven’t noticed before)

    If you have keyless entry, I believe there is a proximity sensor.

    Im not saying you dont know this, but the light wasnt on when you were near or walked up to the truck was it?I know it's unlikely your not aware, but these trucks do have a convenience feature built in So that even when locked and the fob is detected close enough all interior lights come on.

    That’s a relief! Before I had the sick-nasty ME-SO lights I never had my lights on, so I must have not noticed it.
