OP, sorry. No magic chips, intakes, superchargers or turbochargers. What you have is what you got.

Now, you could add torque by changing gearing or running smaller tires.

You could also shed weight, like interior, etc. Won't add power but will make it faster.

 

actually, the new release is different and very VERY noticeable. not hardly subtle at all. take a look at today's reviews in the OV MT thread.

you can read into that whatever you want. but that doesn't mean i said or meant it. i drive my truck, but don't drag it at the strip. however i would track the shit out of it if i had a track membership tho!

 

OP asked how to add Horse power to his truck. Orange virus tuning has a calibration kit that will bring your tuck to live. Were not talking about your typical cold air intake, its a big difference.

Edit- He aso has a twin turbo setup coming in the future for the truck. Will improve low end torque issue that these atkinson cycle engines lack

 

I know the tune offers better drivability. Absolutely. Adding hp is a different animal.

 

of course. i guess what i have to say is that the driveability and moderate power improvements, especially down low under 2500rpm, have allowed me to drive it like i want. not fighting any muting, incomplete throttle, weak throttle response, etc. it's kinda like 2 things now: all the weird factory tune bullshit is gone, and the motor now uses its hardware fully. it is absolutely night & day regardless of power level.

 

You could regear as well. Loses top end but gets you low range umph.

But really, if you want power. Try driving an Ecoboost.

 

They already have this truck so wait for Magnusons super charger or ovtunes twin turbo
