    That won't hurt mileage. Only if it's really loaded with with hundreds of pounds of stuff. Even then it would really only have any effect in stop and go traffic. Once you're moving it doesn't make much difference

    Yup what Seth said, especially cause of the camper shell you have @Dgibson529 it's like bigger tires, worse mileage in stip and go but better highway if you're constantly moving and not always going up hill

    Oooh ok I may get the exact same one. I like the size of that one! I've been looking at them online, but I wasn't sure which one would sit closest to the top of the bedsides.

    I'm thinking of putting my battery pack in there and bolting a couple lockable jerry can mounts to the outside. How did you secure it to the bed? Or did you not?
