What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Guys that have done the 01 to 04 center console conversion how much would you pay for this is 50 to much. I'm thinking it's trashed but there such a hot item

 

Well... my garage is a disaster... but my RTT rack is about 90% ready for paint.


First time welding anything in my life... definately a learning curve.

 

Been driving without front signals for the last little while cause they broke off. New ones are decent.



Ignore the wiring, still tying it all up...

 

Does it have the bracket that attaches the back half to the cab floor?

 

That I'm not sure would it be the same as mine from a 98

For sure! I'm gonna haave an exhaust shop do it, and I already have the headers. Picked them up for 150 lol

Where does that go that looks almost like the one that's in my truck now under my center console

I'm going to pull my center console tomorrow and see if it looks the same but I think it does. I have a center console just hate the cup holders in it idk what toyota was thinking in the earlier years with square cup holders

 

Other then if it' missing the bracket would it be worth 50 bucks or should I offer 30

 

I'd offer thirty cause it looks like it's been through hell. Needs rubber stoppers and is missing the latch on the lower lid. Make sure if they ship it they protect the front two legs that meet the shift boots or they will break off.

 

I'd be picking it up the guy is local

All you can do is strip them basically, they don't really come of an easy way. They have some stupid plastic nuts underneath if I remember correctly

 

Def do it, I sold mine for over $100
