Sure was. NEVER ARRESTED. It was determined there was no evidence to even bring charges against him. Just a young girl that saw dollar signs and when it came crunch time her story crumbled. Several witnesses contradicted her story. It's a shame because Ben is a great guy and this really put a hurt on his national reputation. He has always been in several local commercials in the Pittsburgh area, but he never gets any national airtime.

 

Nice Rig. I have a couple of questions. What CB antenna set up are you running? Also what grill is that? I like the way it looks, and it looks like you could run a couple of LED strips in there to back light the TOYOTA.

 

I don’t know about the “Great Guy” comment. I’m originally from that area around Findlay where he played his college ball and he wasn’t very well liked there, just kind of a dueche nozzle to people. That being said I don’t think he’s a criminal, just not a great guy either.
As for the difference between the Stealers and the Raiders, the Raiders HAD a visionary owner, but we’ll see how Jr. manages the team. The Stealers on the other hand probably have the best front office in all of professional sports. I’m a Niner’s fan, and its not the coaching staff or players that I wish we had in San Francisco, its that front office.

I'm sure everybody wants something from the guy. Players at that level reach such a celebrity status and probably come across a little pompus. I know people that are friends of his and they say he's one of the nicest most giving people they've ever been around. And could not agree more with the comment about the Steelers front office. Regarding your Niners though...seems like they got 'their guy' with Garapollo at QB. Things are looking up for your team I think.

Added a Rockymount to my headrail. Got it from my wife as a just becuase you wanted one gift!





I like vinyl so i tried these accents to see if I liked them.





Wrapped the scoop, made a pro decal, because I couldn't afford a real Pro, and added a vinyl strip across the windshield. I got the idea from a member on here but I can't remember what his said. I went with TRD.



Washed, clayed and waxed these in the same day.



Made a temporary chainsaw holder for a trip to British Columbia. It worked as intended but I would make it out of thicker aluminum if I was going to run with that design.





Synthetic Oil Change. I cried a little putting that tin skid plate back on. Not sure what skid setup I'm going with yet.



Installed a Fortin Evo One remote start. I really need to do a write up but I've just been working too much to get it done. Made this bracket to fit under the dash. It made for a pretty clean install when everything was done.





I unpinned all the wires that weren't needed after this mess.





Designed a centre cap for the sport wheels. I'm happy how it turned out but I need to buy a 3D printer, Shapeways is just too expensive for prototyping.







Super early morning adventure. Found a tight trail on Mt. Thurston, BC. Didnt get to explore much but the truck did great.

Wrapped the chrome on my sport wheels. Used Vvivd's Matte Slate Grey. It perfectly matches Plastidip's Anthracite Grey. Difficulty was a 9/10 but it's my favorite vinyl job yet.

When I traded my short bed, I was just taking it in for a service issue. Trading it wasn't planned. I had put an eBay look-a-like TRD Pro grill in it like a week before that. I shoulda asked the dealer to swap it out with me...he may or may not have let me. Anyway, I had my old grill from that truck hanging on my barn wall and thought I'd experiment a little. I bought some Rustoleum paint made for painting plastic at Walmart. Flat black and a metallic silver for the emblem. I think it turned out great. Not sure how it will wear. Everyone seems to do the plastidip thing and that's what I actually went to get but then I spotted this paint. Personally, I think the TRDs should come with a similar design... Flat black grill with a color-matched emblem. Love to see this design with a Barcelona or Inferno Tacoma. That would really POP I bet. Anyway, let me know what ya think.

I agree, and I understand the chrome, but they should come blacked out. As far as Inferno goes, it's the perfect choice.

Here it is on the Barcelona red. I did mine with Rustoleum bed liner spray. Has held up great so far. Did this on my Jeep a couple of years ago and it still looks good.

 

@mesojdm could probably help with that center cap. I think it looks great!
