    I just noticed that there's no V6 emblem (SR5 emblems are there, so doesn't seem like a debadger). If that is a 4 cylinder, it must be putting around pretty damn slow.

    An early first gen would be a 95-97.
    If anything it's a mid first gen because it's a 98-00.
    A late first gen would be an 01-04.

    I thought that was the 4x4 emblem that was present on some and not on others, because if it already said 4x4 on bedside, they would leave it off the back. Haven't heard about missing V6 emblems.
