I paid $335. I got the best tint they offered and did 60/40 (VA legal limit).

A catch can/AOS is a really good idea with the new DI motors. On old non-DI motors, the fuel flowing through the intake port helps with cleaning the intake valves of build up. No flow on DI motors, so it builds up quick from what I understand. I'd hate to see what mine are like.

What did you end up ordering? Inquiring minds what to know. :boink:

Ah, must have been much more damage than it looked then. Sounds like you are well on your way to modding the 2018

@Me. Projekt ill see if i can dig up the receipt for the remote start/tint when i get home later. It has its own fob. I asked if they could use my existing one but they said something about the oem not having something so i had to use the aftermarket fob as well. Its much smaller than the oem fob though. Amd if you went with something a little more high tech than the basic one i got, you may be able to use the aftermarket fob in place of the oem.

You cant turn the WRX into a hot tub... Gotta take that into account in the decision process.

yea I think WV has the same limits... but I give zero fucks haha... in my experience, 20% is dark enough to keep the car relatively cool and not too dark for seeing at nighttime.

and as far as an AOS / catch can... Morimoto makes a dual catch can for $400, but the AOS is like $420.... so I'm thinking AOS

and Karen and I made a compromise, that I have to give a 2 year commitment to this car.

and this is what I ordered:
2018 WRX in World Rally Blue 6MT Limited w/ Navi / Harmon Kardon

(sorry Jeremy, I know you have the same color... but it's suuuuuuuch a gorgeous color.)

ahh makes sense... I'll weigh the pros and cons... but right now I have a nice little spreadsheet going of little things to do it to make it my own!

nice man! that looks good! did you send the original one back that had the coating issue? or just mounted that one?

lol this is true.... however, on the plus side, people I barely talk to wont ask me to help them move anymore just because I have a truck

Nice. Doesn't both me if we have the same color car.

I mounted the one I originally received. Smittybilt contacted me about the coating, and they said that they don't inspect the coating inside the hole because it is a wear surface and will rub off eventually anyway. They did agree that the sharpie coloring was weird.

Just went to Lowes here in Front Royal and picked up 4 cans. It's cheaper at Lowes, plus I get a discount using my Lowes card.
So hopefully sliders will be on this week!
