Forgot about truck race and grand national race, too. Just tuned in for final few laps.

 

TFW you think "I'll just catch the last 13 laps of this race" turns into "I didn't realize I was signing the next hour of my life away."

 

The only reason I'm still on tacomaworld (among a few other things) is because I've spent the last 3 years controlling the amount of bitchfests that goes on in here, I'll make it 4. Let the season begin. Btw, PENSKE has been the best restrictor plate team last 4 years so id expect them to be up there most of the race. Ending is always a joke so no telling but I do like the no ride height rule, reminds me of the good ole days.

 

So disappointed, you're the very few logical voices in this thread. Step it up.

 

For those that are bitching about the "aero" at Daytona you can step away, the no ride height rule gives teams so many ways to make a car faster that they had to unskew the cars so drivers could handle them for 500 miles, this is the best package at a restrictor plate since early 90s hands down. Not even close.

Yeah, add more drag/downforce to keep them from wrecking and it may work a little better....

 

The teams are choosing to run with the rears of the car on the ground taking the spoiler out of the air. The down force is there the team's just have to set the car up for it by giving up speed. This is a strong package compared to what it had become.

Man i wish this race started at the old time (1:30). I have work at 5. No way I’ll see the finish.

 

Well, the only way ricky stenhouse wins is by wrecking half the field. He does it every restrictor plate race. Elliott also driving stupid. Racing is good though, best Daytona racing through the field in first 60 laps I've seen.

 

Chase needs to chill the F out and someone needs to put the 17 behind the wall!

LOL, well at least he took the 2 with him. That's just about a win. Bad Brad pulled a much bigger bone headed move in the duels so let's keep some prospective.

 

Eh, Wasn't brads fault, spotter didn't let him know Jamie was there, was listening at the time. Let's keep things in perspective, Brad is the best restrictor plate racer in the field. Elliott proved he is clueless out there.

 

I will give Brad his due but Chase also had a huge run and got blocked by the 12 so we can agree to disagree. Enjoy the rest of the race.

 

Elliott didnt commit on passing the 12 with his huge run and keselowski did, then I saw elliott try to block the 2 late and wrecked them. You too.
