Hehe, kinda reminded me of a "hold my beer" moment

I'm not even going to comment on the past few posts...

I will say that I only put about 15 miles on the new tune but it is pretty good so far. The VVT kicks are much more muted and power is definitely there. I just bought a used 2009 VW Jetta Sportwagen with a manual transmission for my DD to put miles on. The truck will not see nearly the mileage it has in the past ~year. I put 20k on my truck in about 10 months. Ouch.

 

that was the same on 1.03 for me, but it is still a smoother transition now. and much more awake.

 

I’ve got 32k on mine since April. Mine goes everywhere and it’ll probably be more miles this year. Last year was about 42k in total.

 

Just loaded the 1.03b flash to 04B12 ECU and it is legit! Issues with second gear are gone, consistent power through out the gear range. 1st has a lot more take off as well. Overall very happy with the update.

by the way, i had all electrical loads off but a fan behind the dash kept spinning and i couldn't get it to stop. i had given up and was packing up my stuff when i heard it stop. decided to try again and it worked right then.

 

How do you guys keep getting these tunes? Every update I'm missed and have to contact OV directly

ok here it goes .after extensive subdivision driving i will tell you this tune is worth every penny. it is so good that my first impression was i thuoght the rev hang was dead.tune really helps make it muted.

i certainly recommend this product as is.

now concerning defco and rev hang it seems as it was designed in way that the cats will always get fuel.
so when revving to 2600 rev hang kicks in and adds fuel,when revving over 2700 no fuel but it compensates by dumping feul in at the bottom causing that dreaded surge.
what say you.
