I have some more practice in the form of a stubby rear bumper, Just need to buy recovery points. $20 for a single recovery point, considering just buying a square tube instead to run a receiver shackle mount instead just to save money.

Just welded some stuff up, had to weld feet for my extension legs

Just let me know when you want to do it. I'll fire up the heater and the welder.

Whenever your good. I can get everything local whenever so long as I am not buying recovery points, just need to draw up the bumper so I can see how much plate/tube I need

I share a shop with a good friend in Defiance. That's where my welder is right now.

Does anyone know of a shop that would be interested/willing to build a bedrack for me? I had a Pelfreybilt rack on the back, but sold it so that I could use a camper shell (Im regretting that). Pelfrey doesnt make them anymore, and every other group that Ive contacted about their racks, are reluctant to modify them to fit what Im wanting. I want the rack to not attach to the u-channels on the side, but to bolt between the channels and the bedsides. This allows you to still have access to the tie downs, and then you can use a soft tonneau cover.

Here are pictures showing what it used to look like. This time, I think that I would like to make it a little bit longer (although this setup worked perfectly).

Like @G.T. said, I'm sure Austin could fabritcate something custom for you no problem for a lot cheaper. The only other bed rack I've ever seen that allows to Tonneau Cover is KBVOODOO

If you come out to the mod day this weekend I can show you where his shop is - ten minutes from me - and the two of you can talk about it. He may swing by to visit for a bit but he always has something going at his shop.

That’s not a bad idea. I may try and do that. I’ll get the mod day info from the thread. Are you going to have your flippac out? If so, I may drag my gf with me so she can see what she’s missing.
