After reading all of those I am tempted to go to my local store up the street and explain to the manager that this is a bait and switch as well as against the TOS of the Walmart site and ask for a gift card until the refund processes

I just remembered some problem my wife had years ago with Walmart.com. She bought something, it was from an outside company and she didn't realize it. She was all upset that she couldn't return it to Walmart and the other company wanted her to ship it, restocking fee, etc...

It's the second, and last time I'll use their site. Can't remember what the last issue was, but i only jumped on the awning bandwagon for the 5% chance it was real and no worries about getting my money back through the CC.

Clearly they don't do much background checking on the "vendors"

 

Speaking of scams... found a decently "normal" looking one on CL. Looking for a dump trailer, found one for a cheap price but normal description and pictures. Waited for a response, then got an email with more pictures and the whole "I am busy with work and it was my husbands who is deceased, i need to sell it fast due to going to military training out of town." Which read just like a 'nigerian prince and his lost fortune' email.

I asked some basic questions which were ignored and just got a "Im out of town but we can go through ebay so you can have it for a week before you have to pay, would you like a link?" And its getting shipped at no expense!

A for effort though.

I have made out pretty well with Walmart but it was stuff sold by them. Ordered the 24 cases of 12 16.9oz Red Bull's for i think like $30 they came as individual Red Bull's so I complained and got my money back and got to keep them for free. Then I got 2 Coleman cots that go for $60-70 for $6 a piece.

 

Found my new expo rig! 2004 V8 4Runner limited with 205k miles for $5500 thing is really clean, picking it up sometime this week.

 

This looks like a 2nd gen or newer spindle. Not long travel.

Edit: Upon searching the site itself, they only offer a 2+ LT kit for $4500.

 

If you guys want a relatively inexpensive awning check our ARQ4WD on IG. That's the early version with no poles that I have. Their newer quality is even better and has LED lights in it.

 

Hahaha! Yeah LSK really values thier work and plus some. That's why this guy never asked them to build trailing arms.

 

I have a 10'x10' free standing awning. Doesn't have to be attached to anything, can be set up anywhere and only cost ~$80
