Not sure what antivirus you have installed but it should allow you to add an exception.

Yes. It seems to be improving and getting smoother with more miles but I haven’t driven too many yet.

This is likely to due to required airflow learning.

You guys might also notice the idle going up and down for the first few miles or so or until it is warmed up. The ECU has to relearn all the idle and low throttle angle airflow

I also have a lightly ported throttle body and AFE intake. Possible factors?

intake probably not but messing with the throttlebody yes.

The ECU requires learning accurate measurements on the throttle for idle and other low throttle input airflow measurements especially for cold start. I wouldn't recommend messing with the throttle actually.

It’s very minimal, just smoothing sharp edges. No changes anywhere near the throttle blade. I ported it several months before any tuning. It made all throttle inputs seem smoother at that time.

Last question, can I go with the 91 tune right away or is 87 recommended first as I have a full tank of 94

I am, but only under certain conditions (and I'm 04B10). I can cruise along all day in 5th/6th at 1500 rpm light throttle, no noticeable surges. Torque is much better in that range too.
If I'm in a lower gear and light on the throttle, I get surging - especially from 2500 to 3000rpm if I stay in that range. It seems I've caught the stutter bug from @luminous lol.
I realize the taller gears in 5th/6th could be muting the effect somewhat, AND that my truck has had some kind of stutter from day one (stock tune). I notice it more now on 1.03B than previous tunes.

As recommended by Mat, I'm going to give it some more time and see what happens.

I'm running 91 E0 gas by the way, same as always. Yes I've replaced my CKP some time ago and cleaned my MAF.. because I know someone will suggest those things :)

Edit: No engine mods like intake/exhaust either. OEM paper filter. I may try the 87 octane tune down the road too.
