Welp. The beach here in Louisiana looks just like the beach in Galveston/Freeport.

Well... I almost died yesterday. I rode my lazy boy down to gtown. I'm on the second from the right. When the right lane merges into my lane. Two cars on my right decided they will just come into my lane. First suv cuts me off. The car behind her was tailgating the suv. That I'm right next to. This tundra was in the left lane also next to me..... I grab the clutch held onto the horn and peg the bike at red line. The tundra slams on his brake and I jump in front of him. I looked at the chick in the car then gave her the finger. I even scooter closer to her to make sure she could see it. She said sorry. Fuck your sorry! Then I went to the suv. Chick was on her like nothing happen. I pulled up right next to her, got her attention. Then gave her the finger also. She got scared and slowed down. I saw a exit ahead, pointed at her then pointed to the exit sign. She took the exit! While I have her the finger. I got in ront of the tailgater chick and made her exit. Then I rode off. The tundra next to me caught up and was laughing so hard they gave me a thumbs up.

Dayam. Exactly why I don't ride anymore. Drivers are preoccupied with everything except actually driving, exasperating.

Good to hear you're ok dude.

 Glad it came out OK. Welcome to the 2-wheeled world, no one sees you, and any "incident", you lose. CYA is the order of the day! I've considered carrying a pocket full of fist-sized rocks just for those situations, but figured it would be much better not to :D.

Might have been my fault as well, for riding the same speed as traffic at the time.

Have to assume each and every driver is a dumbass bitch and will act accordingly, then you do what protects you.

....sounds like I'm dinging scooter riding, but I still enjoy it, just have to change your mindset to looking ahead and predicting road and idiot behavior much more than the majority do in a car/truck. All about awareness, every time I've gotten into a dicey situation on the scooter, I can go back and figure what I did to allow it to happen to me.

And, BTW, please don't get into the "loud pipes save lives" BS.

    It saved my life.:p
I' usually pretty aware of my surrounding when I'm on the scooter. But something about that lazy boy makes me feel like I'm in a tank... lol
