One of my friends went custom Alcan, and they were *only* $748 shipped to him, which isn’t too terrible IMO for what you’re getting. They ask you allllll sorts of questions about how you use your truck and where the weight is located so they can tailor it to your needs perfectly. Plus the only off the shelf leafs I can find advertised as 750+ lbs are some deavers that are $1,000 for a set.
Not sure. I really do like these leafs though. I have had no complaints from them at all.

That isn’t terrible at all! Let’s package your leaf packs and my old mud flaps for @Redmann .... Steve I’ll throw in the OEM flaps for $35 on top of this leaf pack... deal?

Agreed! And if I can sell these Dakar’s to mark for a few bucks, it’ll help offset the alcans making them normal leaf pack price. Then I can get these and just not have to worry about them for a long time.

The Dakars deal is worth it only because of the mud flaps:anonymous:

I have those Deavers and love them. I have used Alcan for making overloads for some trucks for customers and I like them. Deaver will also custom tailor a set of srpings for ya.

Bonus for going with alcan have them outfit the springs with these

But if you are gonna spend 700+ bucks, why not spend 200 more and have the absolute best option in regards to bushings, then you won't have to go through this again

I have no clue, but if that's the case that's a good cost effective option.

I posted a link to a comparison between the old and the new. The search function on thusnsite is decent but I always ask first, then search later

I might look into this as well. It really depends on my wallet size when Randy is ready to sell his.

I don't think he is. Last time I was at his shop, I asked what the leaf packs were sitting on the floor. He told me about you recommending ats and that those were them. This was 2 weekends ago.
