Haha. Definitely don’t use reddit. That site confuses me.

As mentioned in the first post of the thread, we don’t even take credit for having made them. It was @sxe4533 and he was cool enough to send me the file so my sister could make them and have some extra cash coming in. That’s part of why the sport edition is taking awhile. 1-cause she doesn’t have a sport Tacoma to keep trying the vinyls on for sizing. So she was sending them to me from Idaho to California and mail was taking forever. Now she is going to the dealership on sundays in Idaho when no one is there. Haha. So between every cut she has to wait a week. She’s getting close. So hopefully soon we’ll have the sport ones out.

 

I should find out how much the guy quoted and send him my offer. Hahahah

 

Not sure who that is! I gave the file for few people on here for personal use the only one one that i granted permission to sell is @Pikestaco! My wife sold few for locals that willing to pick up thats about it!

 

I looked into him, he does own a sign shop in Redwood City California, the shop is called Schoen signs. But the story does sound a lot like yours.

I would like them to be more like the SCS gold than the orangish color my poor MS Power Point rendition shows. Power Point's editing abilities are limited, but its better than MS Paint and all I have on my work computer.

Finished late last night. Took longer than I anticipated and my back is still sore but I think it looks great. I pulled off the cap emblems and dipped to match. Thank you @PikestacoSister !

Does outside temperature make a difference? I was planning on installing mine this week in the garage, but the warmest it's going to get this week is 40 degrees so should I wait until it gets warmer?

 

Yes. In that cold the vinyl will be more stale/firm and harder to apply.

 

Great I figured as much so I'll wait closer till spring time. Damn WA weather lol

Just got a set from my sister to test. Should be the right fit this time around. Will hopefully have time to get to it today. Stay tuned.
