    So...

I splurged a little this weekend. Ordered the TRD Pro suspension PT13-35150 from OEM Parts World for only $622 shipped! This includes front and rear shocks with TRD-tuned front springs, what a steal! I also ordered ECGS bushing to replace the needle bearing for $75 shipped.

The best deal I got is from Demello! I jumped in on the first batch/run of their "new" Overland Aluminum Bumper series. Got it for $2.2k because I also bought a winch through them. They are currently doing a pre-order deal for the new bumpers so I got free powder coating and baja lights to go along with me bumper which saved me $400-$500.

I opted in to get the Baja lo-profile loop bumper. They have told me it shouldn't mess with my TSS sensors since the loop sits below the Toyota symbol, but they don't really know for sure since they have not had anyone order the loop for a 2018 and gave them feedback. So I bit the bullet and went to the for it to look cool! lol

    Congrats

All Tacomaworld members spent $10k on their truck

That should be requirement to be a member on this forum

I spent $7800 on my 17 Pro just so I can go to Saks and Starbucks with it.

63 k miles later, it’s been trouble free, and I haven’t used a SINGLE mod that I have done.

My stock truck is overkill for my needs. My poseur mods add not a single useful thing to my daily life

Though every one on this forum is a doomsday prepper and gong in expeditions daily with their RTT on their way to the desk job

We aren’t honest with our selves

Then again this is MMMMMerica and we should be able to waste our money however we please

OP, you didn't order Kings. How are you supposed to cruise the mall parking lot without KINGS?!!?

    I am not a outdoorsman
But being on this forum and buying mods I don’t need makes me seem like in on my commute

At least I have the brightest and shiniest never used shovel on side of my truck

I already spent well over 4K prior to this spending and I still haven’t even made my first payment... lol

Hell no! They so expensive and I’m not going to be running Baja anytime soon... well i guess you won’t feel the speed bumps at the mall! JK!

I don’t need high end suspension for the overlanding I do. Plus, the main reason for suspension is so I can compensate for the added armor.

Lmao you need to hit it with a chain and put it in the rain for a few days. Make it appear used. Ive been using my truck but am thinking the one unnessesary thing ive done that i absolutely dont need is the Prinsu rack for 900$ once you factor in the light etc. could of just let the longboard surfboard i use three tomes a year hang out back. It added noticible drag, wind noise, and -2 mpg loss. But it looks cool :amen:

yeah one of the producers here has a LC200 series. He has 45k in mods after 85k purchase price. He has made his shovels and RTT look a bit used

    I will use your suggestion.

It’s all fun and games! Not offended at all. I am definitely not a mall crawler, but I don’t judge either. It’s a hobby people enjoy, even if they don’t go off-road.

A wise senior member to me on here said to stop adding up so i stopped at 6k and feel a little better about it. Now time for 600$ clazzios to go with my 2k gear install being done today. You cant drive on 4.88’s on stock seats who do you think i am a transient. Maybe if i tell my wife that i need the added seat material to balance the gears it should work

Most of us mall crawlers don’t admit it. Few of us like me open publicly that I am a world class Expedtion Poseur

    I’m doomsday prepper...

Jk! I do have a shit ton of guns and make my own load my own bullets, and have emergency rations for 1 week and ham radio for communication. so I guess people can mistake me for a doomsdayprepper. I’m just in an area that sometimes get hit with heavy flood and nock power out and can’t drive on the street. Ham radio is for emergency during camping since my cell phone will be out of service.

I justified the bumper by saying Louisiana drivers are the worse (which is true), the bumper will save our lives and lessen the repair bills if we do get in an accident.

I am more worried about my IPhone X charging on my Qi, while making sure my Bruno Maglis don’t get scratched from my clutch pedal ...
