Speaking of bumpers mine is apparently sitting on a freight truck in saint Louis since the 15th. Idk about you but it shouldn't be sitting there for so long in one spot unless for some good reason. And I have heard nothing from R&L carriers

Looks really mean while not being too bulky. Not easy to pull off.

Actually drove mine to work (very long 5min drive), don't know why. Just felt guilty working on it all last week and not going anywhere with it. Have to take its front coilovers off tonight so they can be rebuilt tomorrow.

Lookin harder at the photo looks like just halogen like mine. Still be great! Just remember they are spots. Like..real spots. You'll want something else for a wide closer pattern.

Haha yeah the bumper will kill the mileage im sure. But the BAMF skids are for Frank  Im thinking aluminum ones for Igor as (hopefully) I won't do anything that crazy offroad with Igor.

    Thats not bad!!

0 stop lights:cool: However, i do have to deal with awful road conditions a lot. then its 4wd the whole way and bye bye gas mileage no matter what im driving.

do you have the tool to press the bearing out of the back plate? the most important thing is to set the retainer ring right to sit on the axle seal correctly.

anyone know how to get the power steering pulley off? I thought there was a hex on the shaft or something but apparently there isn't... Somehow my pulley is extremely lose, not sure if the splines are destroyed or what, was gonna flush the system too but the fluid is clean.

I just pull the nut off and then the pulley pulls straight off the the shaft, might have to give the shaft a tap with a small hammer or something but mine have all slipped right off.

yea problem is the pulley spins independent of the shaft so I need to keep the shaft from spinning while taking the nut off, either the shaft splines are gone or the pulley splines are gone, or its just not tight enough :notsure: something looks majorly messed up though...

That's really bad then... those are pretty coarse splines, how'd they strip. I'd try an impact gun if you can't somehow get a grip on the shaft.

If you want to fix those dents you can buy a stud welder at harbor freight and pull them out and paint over it.

Steering was fine all day then when I backed into the driveway it was making weird noises and the belt started getting shredded up. Ill try taking the pump off and getting an impact on it.. Im hoping its just the pulley :fingerscrossed:

I've thought about doing that, but I have a pretty low tolerance for body work as my friends can attest to. Put a new front clip on a buddy's truck and to straighten a fender i put my hilift in the turn-signal hole and whacked the panel with a hammer. I am a complete gorilla with stuff like that haha. I have a friend who is a collision specialist and paint guy so my other friend and I are going to fly him out to detail all our cars and straighten the taco panels enough to paint haha in exchange for a flight and a week of sunshine and booze.

I'd try pushing the pulley in first to see if you can grab any remains of splines to hold it still.

Do you guys think I can slap the OME lift w/ stock UCA for about a month until I can get some TC UCA?

Absolutely, I still use stock UCAs with my extended travel Icon coilovers.. if you can align it and the UBJ isn't binding (mine somehow isn't) then you're good.

Body work is really an art, you can never really get it perfect.

My other truck is going to need a lot of it...
