I haven’t used those. I went with acceptor cans. There is pros and cons to each. Your are a lot easier to mount and what not. However mine are a bit more robust, and can be run over and shit lol.

I’ll have 80L of extra fuel. On my trip out to Halliburton this past weekend with stock gears and 35’s in 4th gear the whole way. Fack.....I’ll be bringing enough hopefully

I only bought it cause it was the 15L one. And was $60..
im not sure how much ill need, see how the truck does after the first trip. I get about 550km a tank. Swisha is 500 between gas, but that’s way different driving style.

Costco has the same 'military style' ones as canadian tire for $21 for two vs canadian tire being $21 for one.

They had them two weeks ago

where did you find it so cheap? They're usually a lot more.
I get about 400-500km a tank depending on whether its highway or city. Hell right now I've been getting about 300km a tank but thats because my drive is 6km one way for work right now so short trips kill MPG.

from what I understand swisha is mostly gravel and logging roads so should be mostly 2hi which will help MPG.

Need to figure it out for swisha of where fuel is. Need to see if we can start trail full tank or not. If we can I'm thinking 40L may be enough but I might just carry 60L to be safe. Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it lol.

I first got 19l/100 then on my way back I was at 17L/100 on the way back. I am hoping with the re-gear I should get some more. Hopefully....

I swear to god if I have to borrow gas because I ran out even after the 67L stock tank and the extra 80L Ill be looking into an auxiliary tank....or a fucking trailer to bring gas lol

@Theicemedic has one. I keep telling him I'm going to laugh when he stakes his own foot with it

I never expected the Tacoma to haul as well as the f150. But I also didn’t expect it to be worse on fuel than the bigger truck either. I went to the Tacoma because the F150 was just too large for my day to day use. The Tacoma is Rated for far more than I need. The Tacoma has adequate power I feel but not enuff power to justify its miserly fuel mileage.

I have put 78L in my truck in 1 fill. Fill me light came on and I just needed to know how far you can push it with that little light going. I went 64KM with the light on.

wow...I dont think I have ever let it go down that far....good to know. So essentially with the extra 80 litres I will have on board...I should essentially have two tanks if you will. So 350-500km to a tank. So I should be good for 700-1000km. All dependent on terrain as well. I have gotten as low as 250 km to a tank. Lots of throttle in the snow will do that though. See how the gas mileage is with the regear...

I am waiting until I get the 33's on and get an idea of MPG hit before I buy my gas cans for the swisha adventure.

I used the smaller versions of these on my enduro motorcycle for years, I loved them.

What happened to the 33s? You had them somewhat on the one day, did yoy get everything yet to mount them and get them on with the weight of the truck?
