Looks interesting! I'd be down would like to know more about the conditions of the route and possible obstacles you'd encounter etc. I wouldn't want it to be to boring. Seems like a Ga version of the kentucky one.

 

Yeah, I don't think it would be near as challenging as the Kentucky run, but could be a decent ride and camp overland style trip.

 

@ahspurlock isn't the only pro/expert coming there ! I think that there are some other guys coming that have a good amt of experience as well. You could always have @ahspurlock wrench by himself while you have a guy on each corner!

 

A few people from the Alabama group did it this weekend. I have been planning on doing it, and from what I have seen there is only one rough section on the trip.

 

Gotta find some good pics of those that have taken the trek. That Ga. clay can get nasty as well!

 

If they did it in a weekend then that means you can keep up a pretty good pace.

 

They might not have done the whole thing (not 100% sure on that) but I have seen several posts of people completing it in about 3 days.

 

That's what it looked like to me. Three days with time for a bit of sight-seeing and such.

 

There's some pretty fun places to wheel there. I haven't done most of the ones that are on my to-do list.

 

the Tray Mountain area is supposed to be the roughest section. But probably something our trucks would laugh at.

 

Beasley Knob is one of the places on my list. I heard Tray Mountain got leveled out pretty good.

 

I was looking at tray mountain and a couple other areas around there just to go and do.

 

Looks sweet...I'd be up for giving it a run.

 

1st week of April I'm on vacay. That would be a sweet way to spend it off road for a few days.

 

Is that the Georgia traverse? there's a T4R guy on YouTube that ran a portion of it.. I'll post a link when i get back to my laptop
