This weekend for over 2 days I worked on getting my suspension installed for #HardShellTaco . 2015 TRD Pro Bilsteins and Headstrong 3 leaf AAL (Add a leaf). I posted some instagram @_RobDaman post and stories about it and will have a video up soon youtube.com/robdaman talking about the pains and preparations necessary to install. The AAL I’d have to say isn’t for a noob but the rest can be done with the proper tools. Working at night and alone isn’t the best thing to do but unfortunately it’s the only times I got toggling work and family. I don’t have precise measurements (sorry guys) but I got 2 inches all around. Rear AAL I kept the overload spring in case of heavy load and future towing possibility also the hard topper dropped the rear stock. Ride is firmer on road but when hitting bumps it’s smooth. No offroading yet.

Will do. I think most folks have seen a slight improvement in MPG; however, it drives a lot smoother.

Thank you! Smoother is better. I tried the ECT off once. Not good for city driving. 1/3 of my commute is city. It wouldn't come out of third. LOL

I met the founder of TacomaBeast yesterday at the meet and did a quick interview. The dude flew in all the way from Florida to SoCal to meet Taco owners and personally hand out free t-shirts! really cool guy. He started out as an enthusiast like us in the forums and did his thing.

It was pretty easy, I took out the plug for the USB/ AUX out and disconnected it so I could feed the plug on the back of the outlet through that hole and do the splicing. I wrapped it all up with electrical tape and fed it back through, then put everything back where it needed to go.

I like that....a nice snatch mount as well as a step.

Perfect for pulling Fords outa mud bogs and for their girlfriends to step up into the bed of your truck and have a seat on your beer cooler while ya get their poser dude outa a jam.
