Yeah, you wanna buy it? Gonna sell it for $800. It’s powder coated and will come with the lights.

So because you have their armor, they say "You! You there! You get lettering! Advertise for us and we won't give you anything in return. It's a win win!"

@bski22 punctuation is inside quotations sir. You're card helped me :D

I may be interested when you are ready to put the new one on. As long as I have the funds. Let me know when and we can talk then.

It doesn't look bad though. I have the same lettering from last years AOAA event. I won it in the raffle. Was thinking about just putting the offroad part on my truck, but it's black and my truck is MGM.

It'd be like ghost lettering then!

I just think joes a good guy and runs a good business, and thought the truck would look cool with the lettering. I’m not quite special enough to say “Hey, I’ll allow you to put your sticker on my truck and give me free shit because of it.”

Sounds good, you’ll get first crack at it. Won’t be for a month or two.

That's fine gives me a chance to re-arrange some financials. Depending on when it is and the schedule if I can get it I could ride up there we do the swap, then maybe I can see what some of the trails up there are like

True. I did put a black American flag under the TRD for exactly that reason.

Yeah looks good. But it is your truck and his company. Just saying, people pay money to advertise. Or give discounts and such. Just looking out for ya.

So my parents are moving to Greenville, NC. I'll be coming down at some point. What are the trails like by you?

I appreciate the looking out man. I personally don’t really see it as free advertising though. My back window is riddled with stickers, and I don’t really view this as much different. Now a whole vehicle wrap would be a different story lol

Greenville is in the eastern part of the State but URE is about 3 hrs I would guess. Down near Morehead city there is Croatan Nat'l forest which can be fun there are some deep bogs and such in there, it's mostly forest rd riding and mud holes. There is Busco Beach near greenville but that is an ATV, SxS, Dirtbike place it's a lot of fun if you have any of that stuff. There is some trails in the western part of the state and down into SC.

It might be in my head but I swear the bed was bending back a little bit. Ignore the gap between the cap and back window. That’s because it’s for a regular cab truck

That was my thought as well. Wonder if the bed mounts are worn or something. I know the frame is good because it’s only a year old and rust free.

Yeah you are. Tacoma's are not the only trucks to do this most trucks will do this slightly. Once you have weight in the back they will really do it. When we worked on dually's with the utility beds they would do it that bad. It is my belief that this is a design within the frame to allow the frame to flex some to keep the ride nice and smooth in the cab. Manufacturers are big into NVH especially now where trucks are the new SUV.

That would make sense then, with all that weight in the back.

Could be the bed mounts also. I ordered a bunch of UHMWPE from Us plastics to do a bunch of projects one of which is my bed area like the thread shows.

I am going to end up boxing my frame and putting in some more bracing to limit this and let the suspension do it's job and not allow the frame to do it as much. Next time you go flex your truck out look at the body lines before and then flex it out they will move some then too.
