What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Bought a used ATC top from a fellow TW member, even got a nice photo-bomb from another Tacoma passing by the highway! Last week installed 11' Sport headlights and upgraded harness with Halogen bulbs too!

Oh, and ordered a set of Mobtown Sliders!

How do you like them so far? Was looking at those exact headlights the other day.

 

Love them. I ordered some PIAA bulbs today, but honestly they’re very good with the basic bulbs they come with. The only complaint, if I had one, would be that those white halo-type lights don’t come on as DRLs. They are wired to the “parking lights,” so you can turn them on, but I haven’t. They do of course come on with the headlights.

 

Plasti Dip’d my badges. Frickin love it and so damn easy!

 

I have them also, and I love them. No complaints either.

 

Installed my sPOD this weekend. Source mounted atop the fuse box and the switches in the overhead console.

 

Visited my truck as they started the frame replacement. Only took 6 weeks for the frame was expecting longer.

 

Did flood lights, ran them through the reverse lights. Also added led reverse lights to the housings. Finally be able to see what is behind me.

 

Finally got my avid rock sliders

 

Ive got Avid on mine as well, hey are those 265/75/16 ko2's on ur truck? And if so how many miles are you getting before filling up? Debating between those or falken wildpeaks

 

I get in between 290-310 or so but once I move up to 33” I’m going to try out the wildpeak at3s

 

New brakes last week, so plenty of "stop". Now it's time for "go".

Did new NGK. Spark plugs and a new air filter this afternoon.

Figured out that my favorite dealer screwed me on a tune up 3 years ago. Still had oem Denso/NGK plugs in it....@ 147k miles. No freakin' wonder it wasnt running like it should have.

 

I have factory NGK/Denso plugs in mine that I put in! They could of replaced them with factory ones!

 

Possible...but these were slap worn out....looked old.

 

What mileage was it that they did the tune up at?

Gotta love spending 300.00 worth of Amsoil. Case of 0W30, atf and 4 qrts of Severe Gear 75W90...and some goodies for the yard equipment.
