Lol He definitely has helped it with just tuning. But, I was wondering about how it will be when you start adding boost.

I can't imagine stopping this truck if it had twin turbos, the brakes struggle enough as is!

    Brakes only slow you down...
You do have a good point though. Upgraded rotors and pads in the front would probably make a big difference.

Hands down turbos are the way to go, but for the price of the retrofit, I’d go pick up a Tundra. Though I hate trying to find parking in that tank.

The guy literally just came up to me asking me what I did to squish my steps...

I said those aren't steps I removed them and installed sliders. He was like "oh ok cuz I thought maybe it hit something"
"No those are newly installed RCI sliders"
    smh

Should have just went with it. Hit the curbs at target and they both smashed in closer to the cab.

Gee getting real nervousness bout these guys now. They said they are having to drive it around because they torqued a previous guys aftermarket wheels and they backed off when he was driving around ...so they have to test it to get it torqued right...is this common? Maybe they ARE seeing how it drives...

I thought dealerships hired techs straight from UEI... they should know the basics like torquing the wheel on correctly. This is why i work on my R6 myself. Going to have to invest in more tools to do the tacoma now lol

No, they always take mine for a short spin after the maintenance (rotation of tires is included). nothing to worry about. They're only going to care if it feels off(as in worse) not better... the investigation for if you've changed your tune, or improved performance is irrelevant to the technician, only to the warranty people.

8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 17mm, 19mm, and 21mm sockets are all you need to tear the truck apart and put it back together.

Lol coming from a turbo car before my taco, maybe I'm just over the whole excessive boost thing. For now at any rate. But 6-12psi I would definitely be super excited over
