If you had to guess or even calculate, what type of MPG hit are you taking? I have the same truck with the Toyo stock tires and mulling over tire purchases. These tires are almost a good 10 pounds heavier per corner.

I would say 1 or 2 MPG but that’s with the winter fuel mix.

I love these tires. I bought a set in 265/75 r16 in the standard load. They rubbed a bit on my stock suspension, but a bit of trimming quickly took care of that.

They handled a blizzard we had a few weeks ago with 0 problems. Over a foot of snow through out the course of a day.

Yeah I got lucky with free shipping that time. It also helps that I’m in Anchorage.

Just found a local place where I can buy 4 of these tires aligned and installed for $900 bucks. Going to check the tire out in person to see if I want
    to pull the trigger. :burnrubber:

Seems a little expensive, unless you are buying 5.

I will take E over P any day of the week.
I had Toyo A/T 2, P-rated and got a slice in a parking embankment like a razor blade was there. Was that clean. Never found it :pout:

I have never had an issue with E rated. And I've put them thru hell.
But I will admit they are louder and heavier but peace of mind is where its at.

This $900 price is for 4 tires mounted, installed & aligned.:boink: If I order them from Discount Tires they are $730 delivered and I would still have to pay someone to put them on my rims and truck.

Cheapest quote I got for mounting, installation & alignment is $230 from a local Tread Quarters. So even if I bought the
Wildpeak online you are looking at $730 delivered plus $230 puts me at $960. So I found another tire shop that sells the
tires mounted and installed at $816 so I'm jumped on it. I'm tired of driving around town trying to save a few bucks that I
will spend on gas. :facepalm:Either way going with the Wildpeaks instead of the BF Goodrich All Terrains will save me about $300 bucks.

Holy shit man what a rip off! Discount Tire does mount and balance for $64. As far as alignment,I typically don't do it unless it's been awhile. Even then,I've got an alignment guy who does a bang up job for $60.

You could always try calling shops rather than driving around burning up gas

Yeah buddy I got the Wildpeaks 285/70/17's mounted up on the SR8's today. Like we have all read pics don't do this
tire justice. Just rolled around town today and I really like the tire so far. Should get on the highway some
tomorrow. All the guys at the tire shop were talking about how nice this set up looked.
