What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I'd say when it gets to around 40 here everyone starts complaining about how absolutely freezing it is.

It's even worse down in Southern Cali, when a cloud layer forms in the sky everyone starts putting on their winter coats and blasting the heater.

 

After driving around in the snow today enough ice built up on my fender flare to freeze my gas door shut. So I broke the ice with a screw driver.

So I stabbed my 1st gen today.

 

You finish with that custom bumper?

 

Almost, have a few more small details to work out. Then smooth it out and paint it. I did get the turn signals moved up to the corners since this photo

You don’t have a hub to fender measurement do you? I asked earlier n maybe you didn’t see it or want to answer. Trying to figure out how much my truck isn’t actually lifted.

 

So I'm now throwing a lean condition code, and multiple cylinder misfire. I can't win.

24" give or take a quarter. That might be a wee but tall cause the other side is on Jack's but not by much if it is at all.

 

Bath yesterday. First time in a while. Hate to admit but haven’t really been showing the truck much love lately. A good wash can turn that around though

Yeah it is in that ballpark, hard to tell exactly but my truck doesn't looks like a monster next to stock ones so I don't think it is much taller than 2"

 

Close to final mock-up from the shop, switching to a dual swing-out configuration for parking clearance and towing. Finally looks closer to a complete truck!

 

I’m at 21” , so that’s neat.

Not doing a good job keeping it together, pieces just have to keep coming off haha. Coilovers are going to be rebuilt tomorrow and rear shocks will be too so I have something to run until my Kings arrive.
