DO IT. I seriously love the GX470 so much. It'll have some kings on it by summer for sure but even just DD'ing it its amazing. Perfect for my lifestyle and needs.

    Also still get 20mpg's ;)

Cannot and will not give up my Big Ol Tundy for that...but if for some reason it leaves the driveway out of my control, yes a 470 is top 3 considered :D

A while back you guys were commenting on the apps you use while in the woods for navigation. I thought I had book marked the page but must not have.

Could I get some suggestions through DMs from those of you that have apps you use plz. Thx in advance.

I bought mine in September, before we had real rain and discovered some leaking issues towards the front of the bed where there is a gap (in the bed, not the cap). I went in and talked to Tom and he suggested squeezing silicone in the gap and his comment was basically "sorry, we didn't realize that was a problem until it started to rain" - my understanding is that they do that standard on all installs now and from what I have seen that is true.

That being said - I haven't had any of the leaking problems you describe and I've probably put 10k miles on it since I bought it. I have also heard of other people having problems with the locks, and I've honestly had zero problems. Mine are still caked in dirt from Nevada right now and they have been working fine.

I'm not an employee of Adventure Ready and I receive no discounts - but I am advocate for that specific product as I think it's the best on the market.

@edgerat I'm a bit north of AR but you're welcome to come check out mine if you want.

I like Gaia GPS. Does topo, street maps and aerial. You can cash your maps for offline use, save tracks and share them with others.

Thats my preferred app linked to my garmin Inreach Explorer+. I paid the 10 or 15 bucks for a year subscription and have been pleasantly surprised each time I take it out.

Not Ray 10's but there a guy selling these 17" gray methods on the peninsula. More of a cement gray imo. I'll see if I can find him and his contact info or if he's still got them if your interested.

Those look pretty nice - wonder how they would look on the 4Runner

You dont want classic, they are going to stop supporting it in favor of a subscription based service. Its the one with a yellow ring around the icon

I believe they're loose wheels. I think he was saying he's got the oem wheels with tires that have 1k on them.

Ah. I'd like to see how much he wants for them if its not terribly inconvenient assuming theyre 17s.

Did you sell your rims and tires (285s)?

I'll see if I can get his contact info and relay it.

I still have them, which reminds me, my CL ad probably expired.

For clarity, Brian is the only dude in the world getting 20mpg on one of these after lifting it.

That's more than most people are seeing stock.

    Nice pinstripe. :jellydance:
