I just think it looks cleaner. Never been a fan of bumper stickers and emblems. I don’t need giant ones on the side of my truck letting everyone know it’s a trd 4x4. But I go crazy getting all the chrome off my truck, interior and exterior so the emblems were an easy decision. Not that I think it looks bad with the badges. Just don’t trump stamp it

    I just took off my V6 today on the tailgate. I know it's a v6, don't need a shiny "v6"sticker telling me.
Probably why they stamped on tacoma on the tailgate even though its sticker'd on both sides.:censored:

:)If you remove your V6 badge, the oil change tech at the dealer might replace your transmission fluid with only 9.1 quarts for the 2.7 engine/transmission instead of the proper 10.8 quarts for the 3.5 V6.

Come to think of it. Maybe that’s what’s happening at the factory.

The V6 badges are being applied last, at the end of the line.

After a very short training period, the poor new factory worker is placed on the line. Then, with transmission fluid filler nozzle in hand they are looking at the tailgate for a clue as to how much fluid is required to fill the transmission of the Tacomas.

“Yep, no V6 badge on this one, so 9.1 quarts it is”.

    Hmmm.

Maybe we do need stinking ‘batches’!

It was actually Sunday. I got the Taco aligned after lifting it then went to the TacomaWorld meet in Cerritos , CA.

It's always good to meet Tacoma enthusiasts.

My son Jesse finally ate his first taco and yes at a taco meet! He was so excited getting a TacomaBeast tshirt and I gotta say he picked up all the swag! Awesome folks giving him some attention while I was chatting about trucks.

Great job to @Dangerousd1987 and @Chefjay1488 for coordinating the meet. They're both in my video and also the founder of TacomaBeast who flew all the way from South Florida to see how West Coast Taco owners represent.

I donno. Here's a photo of my drainage with a 200+LB bed mat (stone quarry conveyor belt) jamb'd up against my tubes with zero issue. Someone else that used the bulkhead said it looked cool with the elbows and all. I'm not here for the cool but rather for the practical. What about when you do want to shove something all the way to your bulkhead? That 5/8-3/4" elbow projection is gonna' be in something's way and either break off or pop a hole in the bed. IMHO.
