Nice! What tire size and wheel specs do you have? And the usual question: any rubbing?

Looks great. Welcome to the forum :hattip:.

I was under the impression you could reuse the OEM upper control arms?

    Any side pics?

285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks and yes there was rubbing on the cab mount so I had the alignment shop adjust my caster to +3.2. it now clears the cab mount but still had rubbing on plastics. I had to make very minimal cuts to the fenders and now it's rub free.

Yes, I initially installed the ome kit with the oem UCAs and it worked perfectly fine but steering feels 10x better with aftermarket UCAs.

You probably have the perfect offset / backspacing combo wheels for no rub with 285s. Which Slimline bumper is that? That looks really nice!

Damn that's pretty! Nice job and nice photo!

So, what leafs did you go with on that kit? 285's huh with no mods for rubbing. That's impressive.

I know the general thought is to not run the heavy kits unless you have the armor but what happens if you run the medium and then add things later?

Nice. Thanks for the info. I have some LR UCA's I plan to install with my OME kit this weekend and hope to do the same adjustments.

After measuring my driveline to see if my vibration is there, here is what I got.

    T/C - 7.7
    1st shaft - 7.1
    2nd shaft - 7.9
    R/E - 2.8

So if I figured it correct..... That would give me a working angle of 0.6 between T/C and 1st shaft, working angle of 0.8 between 1st shaft and 2nd shaft and a working angle of 5.1 between rear end and 2nd shaft.

If what I am reading (and understanding), would that mean that I need a 4* shim to fix my angles??? In my understanding, that would make my rear end angle 6.8 and closer to spec??

This is all with the carrier bearing drop installed already.

    Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Looks so good lifted. It's funny how that 2.5" looks so much higher than that. When I look at the side pics of my truck or in person it looks like the 32" tires are so close to the fender lip. I guess 2.5" up front is a lot. When I look at that on the tape measure I am in disbelief. Some of these trucks look like they have 6" lifts on them. And I am talking top of rubber to fender lip only. Not ground to rockers.

Two more questions. What sliders are those and what bug shield is that? I've never seen either before. Thanks.

Do you have vibrations now? I thought I saw a video on this and how the deciding factor was calculated as you have done. I am definitely not the guy to ask.

I just found this data online:

Elbe U.S.A. specifies a maximum of 6 degrees of operating angle

I have a slight vibration taking off and more noticeable when stopping

Yea, I am definitely not the guy to answer this but maybe @EatSleepTacos can help out. He's my OME lift guy I go to with questions.
Randy, here are his driveline angle numbers:

After measuring my driveline to see if my vibration is there, here is what I got.

    T/C - 7.7
    1st shaft - 7.1
    2nd shaft - 7.9

Yes I completely agree. It's like night and day difference from just 2.5" lift.
These are fake sliders made by Tyger auto. They're just sidesteps made to look like sliders. It's temporary until my real sliders come in lol.
And the bug shield is a matte finish low profile shield made by AVS.

 Yea, It does look like a lot more than that when I look at mine. I like it.

I really like that design, too bad not real.

Interesting, I have never seen one with that lip like that. I mean, that is what kicks the bugs up over the windshield. All the rest of the low profile versions do nothing. It does sit rather low on the sides and the front. Does it touch at all?

    Thanks for all the info!
