Alabama thread!

Awesome man. I think it needs to be a four day trip unless you start early in the morning on the first day. We ran out of time last evening. But it was beautiful.

 

The only well built rig I’ve seen on campus thus far

Morning all I have come to the conclusion that the more plans I try to make for weekends, the less they happen. Oh well, good weekend nonetheless.

 

I have my 87th dinner plans this weekend...

 

Bump that! We just got accepted to a day care so after seeing what I'm gonna have to pay per month, my application to Lowes is getting submitted! Got durn! I knew daycare was gonna be expensive but didn't know I was gonna have to get a second job and sell body parts on the black market to get by!

 

ouch. kids cost $$ fo sho. I'll step off my "too many dinners" complaint box now lol

 

There’s a guy selling an old Toyota (maybe pre Tacoma) on Shades Crest Road in Hoover. If anyone is interested in a cool project truck and I’ll get some photos and contact info for you.

 

That’s not fair. Every university is full of 90% mall crawlers.

also, I went to UAH...it was full of prius's and other ridiculous cars. I was like 1 of 3 lifted trucks my entire time there..

UAH had a massive street racing scene. For my one semester there, we would hang out in the charger village parking deck. There were some kids with some mega daddy money rolling around in there.

 

Oh for sure that existed. I remember the sweetest little Black Supra. Also, some really obnoxious 350Z.

 

I had classes with the girl, yes girl, that drove that supra. It was a twin turbo beast.

The best "modded" car around HSV nowadays is the one I saw Saturday night. LS swapped clean AF RX7! I had seen it numerous times in the past but just saw it for the first time in a couple years Saturday. It is nasty!

 

haha. I know that guy (kinda). My best friend growing up is building a LS swapped RX7 and he used to hang around them before he moved. Last time I saw that guy he was rolling through one of the bar areas of Birmingham with 2 other rotary RX7s, all of them clutched and bouncing off the rev limiter.
