Just seems a little high for these trucks, that's all.

The funny thing about mpg junkies (upper 20 mpg) is the fact that they always seem to post their "best case" mpg. Anyone can post pictures of their truck getting "great" mpg.
The saddest part about this is the fact that they truly believe that those "best case" mpg #'s is their actual average. Hey, whatever makes them feel good.

Anyways, optimistic that this tune will increase my average. Current mpg is 14 - 17, depending on how I drive....running 255-80-17 load E tires.

    I fully agree. 275/70/17 and I’m averaging 15.6 mpg on 91 octane 1.02A

    You are correct.

My Taco is my DD and though it does not drive (tune wise) as I would like it on the stock tune. As for the drive train, it is a completely stock 2017 4x2 Lmtd. I love my truck and the improved MPG over my prior 1st gen. I have a heavy foot and could be categorized as a sprint driving style.
I tend to get up to speed quicker than most.:burnrubber:

My commute is about 20 miles "City" but my average speed is typically 40-45, because I choose to drive more industrial roads than the stop light riddled inner city roads. My average MPG fluctuates from 19.5 to 20.5 according to the dash. Using my app (aCar) my best was 22.014 and worst was 16.080.

I have been watching Mat's work from day 1 and have a lot of interest in getting the tune. Watching for both a windfall and/or a month or so with few to no Non-Tacoma problems I need to resolve/pay. :fingerscrossed:

True that! I so can’t wait to get ahold of the new tune.

My tank averages are 23, that's with stop start traffic for 4 miles to and from work each day and then Tampa city(ish) driving. Just going by what the truck and my calculations tell me.

This is my daily driver, I don't hammer the throttle 24/7, I have a motorcycle for that. I also haven't modded it weight/tire wise, just the tune.

I'll enjoy my gas mileage, you can debate it all you like :)

If you can't drive it like you stole it, what's the point in buying it?!

He as a 2017 TRD PRO, so double cab 4x4, and I think he's running 265/75R16 tires (not 100% sure on this)

Thanks for the input. I saw his vehicle but didn't know if that was THE test vehicle. If I could get to 22 mpg, I'd be hella stoked!

Eh we're all waiting on Matt's new drop right now. This is kinda like the part of the RotJ movie when they're all just screwing around hanging out with the Ewoks.

For anyone that wants to purchase the tune, but wants it faster than what is available thru the online "pre-order" on OVTune Site, I have for sale my OBD dongle & tactrix cable! PM me

Maybe if I don't sell it quickly enough, I'll actually get to try 1.03 :cookiemonster:
