I would think someone could fab up a bracket to go with 2nd Battery mount to move that too.

 

What are the benefits of a big single battery compared to two smaller ones? Certainly there is less EAF points because one is less than two

 

I think this is the battery tray I am going to get. It incorporates the Blue Sea MLACR and the bussman box and the breaker all with the battery.

the biggest benefit can be realized if the two batteries are actually isolated from each other. Then one becomes a backup battery or the two can be utilized separately as one for starting and standard vehicle duties and the other for accessories like winching and lighting, as an example.
Simply wiring two batteries together will work if you want to keep it simple and this will provide a huge reserve of power but you have to remember that when both are depleted, there is no backup.
Also, this method almost requires that both batteries be identical or one will overcharge or possibly parasite off the other.

 

Good price considering time involved making something like that.

 

Yeah I can slap a piece of steel in 30mins with holes for tie down mounts but it will look like shit. The time involved to design one that is particle and look good your better off buying one bolting it in and calling it a day.

 

Recommendations on a good place to buy oem Toyota parts? (tie rods and cam bolts)
