Good morning peeps before I go to a shop I wanted to see if you guys had some advice. So I decided to install some Total Chaos UCAs myself a few days ago and ever since have been having different issues. The first thing I noticed was that my Fox 2.5 C/O was contacting the sway bar and I fixed that by installing the sway bar relocation kit. Now, every time i turn the wheels they seem to screech I am also making some type of contact with the wheel well on the passenger side when turning into a dip. Any ideas? Thank you!

 

You need an alignment 0,0,3
The 3 is caster

 

Aftermarket uca put in some extra caster which pushes the wheel back towards the cab.

The squeaking could be the poly joints. Did you grease them? If the uniball gets loud you can pick up some Teflon dry lube.

But it doesn’t sound like squeaking from the suspension. It sounds like when you make sharp turns and your tires burn rubber.

That just the tire kissing the wheel well from the added caster.

 

You essentially have my exact setup, sounds like some sort of rubbing or contact. Could be a number of things without more details

 

Oh didn't see you haven't gotten an alignment yet... Yea get one lol those ucas are designed to help out with the wheel forward as possible to give you the most clearance hope that helps

Yeah... understood life happens. Not to much going on as of late, just a few scattered runs. I have been taking it easy with my truck as I need new rear shocks and extended brake lines. I could use new tires too, but got to make these last quite a few more months.

 

Yeah, many have come aboard, but has slowed down a bit. We all got busy and spent to much on mods, trips and day runs. Lol

 

Do you have a 2” or 2.5” lift upfront?
